Although I’ve experimented with many parts of the world that is technical theatre, you’ll most commonly see me running the sound for a concert or production. I occasionally vary that routine by stage managing or directing. And when the performance is over, you can often find me working on the recordings of that event.
From 1997 through 2003 I was part of the board of directors for Central Wisconsin Children’s Theatre as both treasurer and vice president and have since resumed my work with them as vice president. Since 2001 I’ve served as the Entertainment Chair for the Wausau Festival of Arts in addition to being a board member.
I am also working with the nonprofit organization POET (Preserve Old East Theater) to create a usable theater space in the old Wausau East High School building, and I house manage at Wausau’s historic Grand Theater on Artsblock — all this in addition to teaching fourth grade at Franklin Elementary in Wausau, Wisconsin!
