_Biography

If you've attended any local performing arts events within the last 20 years, chances are you've experienced Abe's work.

Although he's experimented with many parts of the world that is technical theatre, his focus has narrowed to sound. He occasionally varies his routine by stage managing and, most recently, directing. When the performance is over, Abe can often be found working on the recordings from that event.

From 1997 through 2003 he was part of the board of directors for Central Wisconsin Children's Theatre as both treasurer and vice president and now resumes his work with them as vice president. Since 2001 he has been the Entertainment chair for the Wausau Festival of Arts in addition to being a board member. Abe is also working with the new nonprofit organization POET, Preserve Old East Theater, as a board member in the hopes to create a usable theater space in the Old Wausau East High School building. He's currently involved with the Performing Arts Foundation on Artsblock as a House Manager at Wausau's historic Grand Theater when he's not teaching fourth grade at Franklin Elementary.
